Students of Polar Aviation have the bonus of learning navigation in a relatively "featureless terrain", which will give you added confidence to navigate anywhere in Australia. If you're just starting out, book a Trial Instructional Flight to get the feel for flying. All Polar Aviation students can access training materials online.
TRIAL INSTRUCTIONAL FLIGHT - For the beginner or aviation enthusiast
Get airborne! A half hour trial in a Piper Cherokee for those starting out- also a great gift for the aviation enthusiast.
Cost: $200
GENERAL FLYING PROGRESS TEST (GFPT)
On completion, you will be allowed to fly within the aerodrome and training area and carry passengers. A significant milestone towards your private pilot licence!

PRIVATE PILOT LICENSE (PPL)
On completion you will be allowed to navigate and fly anywhere in Australia in daylight without supervision. You can even take your family and friends along!
